Opera on the River 2026: A Celebration of Music and Community.  Join the St. Croix Valley Opera for its cornerstone vocal event, Opera on the River—the best of outdoor summer entertainment and SCVO's most popular concert!

There is something for everyone throughout this special weekend at Lowell Park in downtown Stillwater:

Saturday, July 25, 2026:
Opera on the River Concert (7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.)—Experience the biggest outdoor opera concert in the St. Croix Valley, with engaging singers, an outstanding orchestra, and an exciting community of 2,500+ attendees and music lovers! In addition to musical theatre and opera favorites, the 2026 OOTR will debut the winner of the SCVO Vocal Competition from a month earlier. In case of rain, the concert will be moved inside to Trinity Lutheran Church in Stillwater, same time, same day.
