The City of Stillwater conducts municipal elections in partnership with Washington County and the Minnesota Secretary of State. This page provides links and information for voters, candidates, election judges, polling places, election results, and other election resources.

Register to Vote

Absentee/Early Voting - Washington County administers absentee and early voting. Ballots can be requested online or voted in-person at the following locations throughout Washington County:

• Cottage Grove Service Center, 13000 Ravine Pkwy
• Forest Lake Headwaters Service Center, 19955 Forest Rd N
• Oakdale City Hall, 1584 Hadley Ave N
• Washington County Government Center, 14949 62nd St N
• Woodbury Central Park/R.H. Stafford Library, Lower Level, 8595 Central Park Place, Woodbury

Please note: Absentee ballots are not available at Stillwater City Hall. 

Before Election Day, completed absentee ballots must be returned to one of the Washington County absentee voting locations. They cannot be returned to Stillwater City Hall or at the polling locations.
