Stillwater Police Department is continually researching and evaluating technology in an effort to protect our community. Flock Safety technology is used to capture objective evidence without compromising on individual privacy and allows the department to retroactively search to solve crimes after they've occurred. The Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) program consists of fixed and mobile cameras that are strategically placed throughout the city. The program allows the Stillwater Police Department to be alerted to stolen or wanted vehicles, stolen license plates and missing persons while also being used as an investigative tool to search for vehicles involved in criminal activity after the fact.
