Lawn watering is allowed only before 10 am or after 5 pm on your scheduled days.

Automatic irrigation systems should be adjusted accordingly. State law also requires that all new irrigation systems be installed with rain sensors so the system shuts off when it’s raining.

Homes or businesses with even-numbered addresses may water their lawns on even-numbered dates. Home or businesses with odd-numbered addresses may water on odd-numbered dates.

Example: If you lived at 2010 Croixwood Ln, you could water the lawn on even-numbered dates - July 10, 12, 14, and so on. 

Waivers are available to allow proper watering of new sod or seeded areas. Daily watering of new sod and seed is recommended for the first 30 days to establish root growth. After 30 days, normal watering should be sufficient for establishing a new lawn. The planting of new sod or seed during dry times of the year is discouraged.

City water customers may fill pools, wash vehicles and do hand watering of shrubs, flowers and trees on a non-watering day if the watering device is personally attended.

The restrictions do not apply to residents with private wells that have no access to or connection to the City water supply.
